Holiday (temporary) stops

If you wish to temporarily suspend your home deliveries, you can do it here with your subscriber number and PIN number. Or you can access our automated telephone system on 0800 100 888 option 2. Naturally you’ll receive a credit for the days you don’t have the Herald delivered. Or you can choose to gift your holiday stop credit to the Herald Gift Your Paper Fund which provides complementary subscriptions to a range of worthy charities including Hospice New Zealand, Plunket, CCS and Barnodos.

Subscriber PIN number

You can use your PIN number to verify requests for Holiday Stops on your home delivery service.Your PIN number is printed in your Welcome Pack letter or is the last 4 digits of your Subscriber number which is printed on your invoice. You may select or reset your own PIN number by calling Customer Services on 0800 100 888.

Undelivered, damaged or wet papers

If for some reason your paper is not delivered, or it is damaged or wet, give us a call before 8:45am and we’ll re-deliver your paper or give you a credit on your account. We’ll give you a credit if you call after 8:45am. If damaged or wet papers are an ongoing problem please let us know. We can provide you with a high quality Herald paper box.

Moving house

We can arrange things so your delivery moves when you do. Please call us on 0800 100 888 and give us a couple of days notice.

Gift subscriptions

A Herald subscription is a great gift. You can arrange a gift subscription online or call us on 0800 100 888 to arrange for a gift certificate for you to give to the recipient.

Back copies

We keep a limited number of editions from the last 12 months, so if you need to get hold of a back issue just give us a call.

You can purchase stunning images captured by our team of award-winning photographers. All photo’s are digitally printed on gloss paper with white borders and there are 5 sizes to choose from.
