The Herald home delivery network extends northwards from Taupo to include the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, King Country, Auckland and Northland. It also includes Hawke's Bay, Gisborne and New Plymouth townships. Beyond the city and town boundaries, New Zealand Post's Rural Delivery service takes over to provide coverage to all but the most remote addresses.
